Stand Out Youth
Kelly began her community campaigns at the age of 15 with the hope to change and impact the community. Her eccentric personality and resilient spirit founded the campaign Stand out Youth which urged young people to get involved in the development of their community. The campaign consisted of small projects such a drug prevention awareness day, go green day, paint a pre-school project and remember our elderly project.
Young Silent Street Writers
Young Silent Street writer’s campaign will launch in 2018 providing resources to aspiring writers in disadvantaged communities.
“From 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, to 10 December, Human Rights Day, the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence Campaign is a time to galvanize action to end violence against women and girls around the world. The international campaign originated from the first Women’s Global Leadership Institute coordinated by the Center for Women’s Global Leadership in 1991” – Say NO – UNiTE to End Violence against Women campaign
#16days16poets a social media campaign called 16 young poets together to use their art to stand against violence towards women and children. From the 25th November till the 10th December a video will be released each day by these poets.
